The functional challenges

Why Choose Us

To facilitate a smooth cessation in order to preserve growth

Prolonged thumb, pacifier, or finger sucking beyond the age of 4 or 5 is more than just a habit: it disrupts jaw development (narrow palate) and creates a gap between the upper and lower teeth. Our role is to support your child with kindness and without guilt, using playful solutions and small appliances that help them break this reflex and achieve harmonious facial growth.
  • Palliative measures: Use of small grids or gutters acting as reminders, not punishments.
  • Muscle Rehabilitation: Fun exercises to strengthen the muscles of the lips and cheeks.
  • Multidisciplinary work: Possibility of referral to a speech therapist or an ENT specialist if necessary.
